We have EOL MID Server in our instance.
NOW we have installed a new MID Server with is Cloud Basis
Now Both (Old and New MID Server) is Showing UP and Active in ServiceNow Instance.
What Test is Required after the New MID Server Installation?
What to Do with Old MID Server ?
Can we have both Server Active at Same time ?
How to ensure that everything is fine after new MID Server Installation?

HI @Anuj30 ,
the MID Server Guided Setup streamlines the process and allows you to set up a basic MID Server quickly.
The manual process requires these setup tasks, performed in the order shown here:
- Create the MID Server user account and grant the appropriate role to this user.
- Download the installer file for the host machine.
- Install the MID Server on a Linux or Windows host.
- Validate the MID Server to ensure that it is trusted to access credentials used by the instance for automations.
- Test connectivity between the MID Server and the instance for automatic upgrades.
- Optionally, deploy multiple MID Servers in your network for load balancing or when domain separation is enabled.

Hi @Anuj30
I think simple way is to change the configuration in your integration for MID Server. Try to test in Dev first and then move forward.

Thanks for the response,
I have done all the Process and MID Server is Up and Active.
But i just want to confirm that What to do with my old MID Server which is also showing Up and Active in Servicenow. this old Server is end of life.
thats why we required to install a new Cloud base MID Server.
Is there any functionality test i need to do just after the Setup in SN. or Validation is enough ?

Hi @Anuj30
So now, once you confirm your all integration / discovery is passing through the new MID server, you can take down the old mid Server. Its look easy but need a well tested way so that no issue occur when new MID Server in use fully.
@AJ-TechTrek any further inputs.
