Which user criteria will override kb article level or block level

I have to give access to a kb to particular group by adding can read criteria.

I could see knowledge article has block inside it.

 

So if that article should be visible for particular group should I give can read to article levvel only ? Or both kb and kbb level should I give.

 

That group should see kb from portal view. Should be able to read content as well. For this requirment what is correct way to add user criteria or which level

Hi, please see this doc page.

If you need to limit a read access to the knowledge article for a particular group, create a new user criteria with this group and add newly created user criteria to "Can Read", set on both Knowledge Base and Knowledge Article' levels.
