Why does the ATF not support for g_scratchpad ?

Hi guys, I am creating an Automated Test Framework for a catalog item. This catalog item has used a Client Script checking for duplicated input information and using g_scratchpad. 

When I run test for the ATF, it returns a Failure Status

Could you explain why ATF doesn't support g_scratchpad? How do I solve this problem?

Are you running the ATF step for service catalog items within Service Portal? If so, g_scratchpad isn't available in Service Portal. That isn't a restriction of ATF but base platform functionality
