Workflow catalog task conditions not working

I have created the workflow for catalog item flow.
In that there is an activity Catalog task, I have added two condition there Close Complete and close cancelled/closed rejected and added the standard conditions like activity.result ==3 and activity.result ==22 || activity.result ==23, then according to it I have used the set value activity.
But it is not working as expected. it is stuck at catalog task activity." Please let me know if you required any additional details.

I could see you create custom choices for state field on sc_task

As per link I shared for KB

if you are using custom state choices on catalog task then it won't work

Adding condition on catalog task in workflow is not working
