We have a requirement to do the screen recording and attach that video recording in the workspace (e.g CSM workspace). For doing the recording we have a external application which will handle the recording part and will send ServiceNow the details.
Scenario:
1. In ServiceNow customer goes to CSM workspace and creates a new Case
2. On clicking button "Record Video" an external link will be opened which will do the recording and after completion embedded link is sent to ServiceNow
3. On the same Case page that recorded video should be uploaded
While doing the research we have below questions:
1. In workspace, Is there is possibility to show the component globally so that when we publish in an app and customer install the same app. They just need to do some configurations in order to see those components in different workspace for example CSM workspace
2. As the workspaces are based on UI builder, Is there a component in UI builder which supports displaying the video. I have found iFrame but not sure if that is recommended?
3. Recommendation for publishing all these customizations in an app so that the customers can use this functionality across any of the workspace they have build.
