How to get this reference / info” icon (ⓘ) next to a reference field in Workspace, while filling the form just after choosing a choice the record reference icon should be visible.

which version did you upgrade?

if you are sure it was working before upgrade then see if any KB exist from ServiceNow about this

if not then raise case with ServiceNow
