Hello Experts,
We developed service catalog form in development instance and captured changes in update set.We moved update set to test and we got no error or exceptions while importing the update set .
After moving when we try to preview(Try IT) catalog item form by navigating to maintain items we get following error:
you are either not authorized or the cart item is invalid
catalog item status is active and also we are able to access other catalog items which are already present in the instance
Request your expert help for fixing this issue. thanks in advance:
Instance version for dev and test : Madrid
Thank You,
Manish.

Hello do you have any user criteria configured on the catalog item in the cannot view or can view? If so is the configured User Criteria present in the instance?

I had the same thing happen and I kept reading "check user has proper access/roles" but never was given a list of things to check. SO..:
- Check the Modules
- Left hand menu, click on the pencil icon (Edit Application)
- Look at the Roles section
- Check the Catalog item
- Go to the Catalog Item definition
- Scroll down and look for the 'Available For Tab'
Just make sure the proper groups/roles are set for the people you want to have access to.
For me, I just needed to update the 'Available For' section. Hope it helps!
