Hi
How the servicenow helpful to devops from Devops change velocity?

Is this 2way integration?
can we create all those work items from servicenow and insert the data from Servicenow is possible?
How this change velocity helpful and what's the life cycle of devops in servicenow. we need to do connection as like plan,code,orchestration,artifacts,software quality etc. or I need to follow any steps?

Hi, Its helping to create the auto change ticket creation in ServiceNow (With or With out change approval using change policies). It will be configured based on plugins from DevOps tool. ex. ADO is having free plugin from visual market place and install it. After the installation, you should call the steps and configure it to YAML file.

Once pipeline executed it will run stage by stage. You should map change acceleration step as a new stage before prod deployment step. It will execute auto change ticket creation in ServiceNow.

I worked on DevOps part in ServiceNow and here are my thoghts

1. Tool: First we need configure the Tools like - Github / Jira / Jenkins in Devops workspace. These tools once connected will bring the required data in SN.,

2. Enable Related List:  In change, bring the work items / Code / Security and few more tabs which show this data.

3. Pipeline: Create pipeline for different envirnoment.

4. In Pipeline you will get option change auto creation a well.

5./ Change Policy: Use change policies to auto approve / reject or add manula approval in change.
