DEX adopts a comprehensive approach to enhance user experiences, offering a complete solution comprising DEX Application & Device Health, DEX Content Playbook, and DEX Desktop Assistant. With these tools, you can proactively monitor applications, networks, and devices, detecting potential issues before they lead to downtime and impact user productivity.

Current functionality of ServiceNow DEX includes:

Getting Started

ServiceNow DEX is associated with a for-fee subscription and is a part of the IT Service Management product family. Check with your ServiceNow commercial account team for specific licensing information.

 

When you’re ready, get started here:

  • DEX Bootcamp - This course provide the foundation to complete installation, configuration, and use of DEX. (Login required)
  • Digital End-User Experience Product Checklist - A high-level guide to quickly install and configure ServiceNow® Digital End-User Experience.
  • Digital End-User Experience Documentation Home – Access all the most current DEX installation and configuration documentation here.
  • Set Up Application and Device Health – This step will guide you through the process of installing and setting up the Application and Device Health application, installing the Agent Client Collector for DEX, Enabling the DEX Browser Extension, Onboarding Application and Device Health, and Exploring the Application and Device Health interface.
  • Install Desktop Assistant – This step will install the Desktop Assistant application on your local computer.
