Employee Center - Banner Image

Hello,

when setting up the Employee Center Banner Image I experienced a problem.

I tried a few different options for the sizing of the Banner Image. 2000*250, 14440*400 and more. It works fine for me when the page is visualized normally, even up to 200% Zoom in the page. When zooming in more than 250% or dividing the screen in two parts I get the old Employee Center Banner Image which is default.

normal:

after zooming or dividing the page:

When in the page designer I noticed that for Attachments there is a picture which seems to be the one that is displayed when the problem occurs. Maybe this has to do something with the problem, but I dont know how to attach something else.

Thank you in advance and best regards,

Luca

Hey Luca,

Is there an image you want to use in the banner, or you just want a solid color?

If you open Page Designer, click on the row/container. Then go to it's options. It might be the image is still present, so you can remove the image and set to be just a solid color.

And remember if you have ESC Pro, there is a Content Widget that you can set there instead, which has a ton of nice functionality

Hey Dan,

thank you for the reply. The picture was just a sample picture, so normally I would want to use a real picture.

It does not matter which picture/ picture size I use.

I tried to add a background but it did not help. The problem still occurs.

The customers only have Employee Center - not the pro version unfortunately.

Might be you have encountered a bug/issue. I did some testing in my environment and cannot recreate this, seems to be working as I would expect it.

Might be worth logging this with HI support so can look at the specifics of the setup and work out where the issue lies 🙂

Dan, My issue is similar.  The page is responsive.  Yet on extreme squeezing, using Cover for the Background Style, the image disappears as it can't seem to scale it anymore.  What is the recommended resolution and format of the image?
