How to add Search Bar in News feed(OOB) Widget in 'cd_news_center' page employee center pro ?

Hi everyone,

I am working on customizing the Employee Center Pro portal and have a requirement to add a search bar directly into the News Feed widget .

Below is the screenshot of the widget Can anyone tell me how i can achieve it ? 
Is it possible using typehead search ?

If you want to search something in that particular list then you may have to clone and customize the widget.
