List of Frequently Requested Items on the Employee Portal

Is there a way to create a list of frequently used catalog items that we can replace with the current "recommended for you" widget for all non-itil users of the Employee Center portal?

We know each staff can individually mark at item as a Favorite and then click on the My Favorites icon on the top header, but the Service Desk team would prefer to have list of items, like a laptop upgrade, new iphone, etc., on the front page instead.

The recommended for you option is tied to the user and changes frequently.  We would prefer a static list that we can always change later on.

Is this possible?

Replace the below widget.

I looked in the docs, and couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

Did you check on the OOB 'Popular Items' widgets? There are a couple of them in the instance.

If you want the list to be static, you should just create a widget showing items based on a custom setting on the item itself.

Hi @terrieb

You could create a custom widget that displays X amount of static items configured through quick links.
