Hi All, Hope everyone doing great.
on Incident form we have like 50 custom fields. when we create a report on incident table we want all these custom fields showing on dashboards and they should be in while exporting the report. unfortunately system is limiting the fields in a report. is there a way we can include all the custom and oob fields in a report and export of that report?
PS: Customer can include all the fields in a report and export in Remedy but not in ServiceNow. They totally confused why we cant do this in ServiceNow.
Thanks,
Sry

For starters: why would you have that many custom fields? It could even cause performance issues just having that many custom fields. Are you sure they are needed in the process? It sounds like your customer doesn't use ServiceNow as it is meant to, but just does whatever they want with it. And that's just a bad implementation.
It also doesn't make sense that all of these fields are needed in one report. A report should immediately show you the things that are important. Adding over 50 fields means you need to slide 5 screens to the right, just before you have them all.
Advise against it (because it can't be done). ServiceNow doesn't do this because of performance (and process) related restrictions. Let them go back to Remedy, because they clearly don't know what the purpose of ServiceNow and the ITIL processes is. And if they really are stubborn and want to keep on using ServiceNow for this, create multiple reports and let them combine the excels themselves.
