Scania needed to combine IT Services and HR Services into one portal enabling multi-department service delivery and future onboarding journeys at the company. Siloed business functions and manual process were creating inefficiencies and poor employee experiences. Managing and processing HR documents was time-consuming and error prone for HR teams that had to manually manage and track processes. Specific challenges included:

With the HRSD implementation, Scania has a unified, single portal called ScaniaNOW where all employees have one place to go to get help and to request services from different departments  [IT & HR]. Agents are able to solve employees queries efficiently due to structured information gathering process on the Portal. ServiceNow EDM automates many key HR document management processes, reducing errors and ensuring documents are readily accessible.
