Record doesn't exist or ACL restricts the record retrieval || External API

Hello All,

 

I'm trying to update an Incident from an external application using Table API and getting the "Record doesn't exist or ACL restricts the record retrieval" error.

I'm using user with "admin and web_service" roles in it. also, I can log in with the same user in ServiceNow UI and update the same ticket.

Could you please check is that incident exits and the user is able to access the same?
