Standard change Template

My question is regarding creation of Standard change template in ServiceNow.

I am aware of one process which start from...

1. Creating a ServiceNow Proposal through - Service Catalog -> Standard Changes -> Template Management - Propose a new Standard Change Template.

2. Requesting Approval from Change Enablement team.

3. Get Approval by Change Enablement team.

4. Upon approval, one new Standard change template is created and we can use that template for creating Standard changes.

My question here is - Does ServiceNow has any other way to create Standard Change template apart from the above mentioned process?

From OOTB configuration there is no other way to create the Standard Change Template other than creating a "Record Producer" which will create a standard change template.

Please find the below steps to do so.

Step 1: Create a "Record Producer" on std_change_record_producer.

Step 2: Under the Accessibility add the catalog and Category as below

Step 3: Create variables as required and map them to the Standard Change Template table.

Step 4: Click on try it and submit the form.

Step 5: You can see a change template getting created.

Step 6: Modify it as per your requirement.

Step 7: You will be able to see the template created on under the All template module 

Step 8: You'll be able to verify by creating a new change. The template will be visible over there as below.

Step 9: Select the template and submit the change to confirm.

Note: The above solution not OOTB solution also it does not comply with ServiceNow Best Practices.

Recommendation would be to go with the OOTB approach.

No mate there is no way, the reason begin the Std change proposal need approval before it called or qualified as Template. From Portal you can log a standard change by template but not create the template from record producer.
