Evolving on the cutting edge of technology, CERN has to deal with a wide range of diverse risks. To face this reality CERN has its own unit of specialized firefighters. ServiceNow has over the last 5 years become the foundation for service delivery with a scope ranging from the classical IT infrastructure to facilities, logistics, finance, and human resources. Our fire brigade of 58 people is heavily depending on ServiceNow for their daily operations. Thanks to the developments in mobile interfaces and the integration of mapping systems, the tool is able to directly reflects the reality on the ground during interventions and has become a major element in decision-making and keeping relevant stakeholders informed in close to real time. You will discover how ServiceNow has become the co-pilot of the CERN firefighters.
