Abstract:
Hear from Sridhar Chandrashekar, GM of ServiceNow's ITOM Business Unit, how ServiceNow ITOM technologies are used to support ServiceNow's cloud infrastructure and operations. We'll discuss operations such as advanced high availability; cloning customer instances; managing the entire lifecycle of instances; and discovering and capturing all CIs in our cloud infrastructure into our CMDB. Also, we will show some innovations that have moved from the cloud infrastructure team into ServiceNow products. We will show how we use other capabilities like the CMDB, service catalog, discovery, service mapping, event management, workflow and orchestration to automate internal processes — from imaging a server to hosting and monitoring customer instances.
