It's my personal thoughts, but I don't see this work in the upcoming releases. Might come something new to replace UI Macros, but I don't see Jelly starting to work in AW. But that is my personal opinion.

We have implemented a skype (ui macro) beside a custom field in our HR cases to enable skype call feature from service now. And when we tried to check the feasibility of this UI macro icon,  in agent workspace seems to be not possible as the UI macro has jelly code in it which is not supported by agent workspace.

 

Please let us know if there is any possibility to achieve this functionality.
