Please check the below,
1. SFTP network Port TCP/22 is in listening state
2. Whether you are using Internet IP of your mid server because you are connecting the mid server from ServiceNow Application server which is not in customer(your) network.
Thanks & Regards,
Vasanth

Hi,
the error says connection refused and authentication failed
Did you try to connect to that SFTP using some open source software and test the connection
Regards

After speaking with ServiceNow, they explained that in order to utilize an SFTP Data Source, the site/server hosting the file must be publicly accessible over the internet. I pivoted to a third party file transfer solution to grab the file from the host and hold it in a location that ServiceNow could pull it from. Everything is working as needed.

Hi Ken,
Now I'm also working same as what you've worked on your requirement here. (Need to retrieve the CSV data from SFTP via MID Server).
Could you please provide me some details here?
1. How did you communicate SFTP via MID server?
2. Is that the Linux/Windows MID server? (Whatever it's or MID server should be Linux platform)
3. What about that third party solution? Pls send me your update sets to my email for this integration if you can provide.
