I have an article that I posted last year, under the Developer articles area of this community, that I was able to edit before. However, I can't seem to find any option to edit the article anymore:
The reason I would like to edit the article is due to a comment leading me to finding a fix to part of the content of that article. Without the fix being added in directly, anybody reading the article will not get the fix without scrolling through the comments to find it.
Does anybody know how I can go about editing my article?
Edit: As a reference, this is what my options are for this very question, as you can see I can edit it:

Hi @David House ,
The community has gone through a makeover/change/upgrade recently. I think your post is quiet an old one, that's the reason you don't have the edit option.

Hi @Community Alums,
Thanks for the response. I had a feeling it may be a timeframe thing.
I would still like to update what I have put out for the community, since there is a fix to my original article that people will need to know about if they intend to follow it.
What would be the recommended path here? Do I simply create a new article referencing the original, but with the updated information?

Hi @David House ,
That's correct!!
create a new article referencing the original by providing the link of your original post.

If you're unable to find the "Edit" option, it's possible that the platform or website you used to publish the article might have specific guidelines or restrictions on editing. In such cases, consider reaching out to the platform's support or admin for assistance.
Remember to clearly communicate the nature of the fix in your edit summary to guide readers to the updated information. This way, anyone revisiting your article will be aware of the improvements you've made.
