According to the latest Manager Hub demo video/presenation, there should be a timezone area on the first page of the manager hub. Even my example manager has multiple employees within different time-zone, i dont see this feature. As well on the page designer there is no widget that covers this.

Yup, I had to select a time zone for two direct reports in order for the Time zones to appear. Strangely though, I just see times, not the location of the time zone.
Did you check the "Show timezone widget" box in the widget options? My page design is all OOTB.
