For the departments, Do you have the processing logic on the Transform script and the required field coalesced on the Department Transform map. Make sure you have the external id <-> correlation id field mapping.

For Worker Profiles, are you saying there is no Import set getting created at all to transform the data that you are bringing in via the web-service?

If possible can you post the screenshots of both the transform maps?
