Hi @Community Alums ,
This is an IRE related error discovery is failing to insert the CI into the CMDB.

Navigate to: CMDB → Identification and Reconciliation → CI Identifiers

Verify that a Lookup Rule exists for
cmdb_ci_computer.-
If missing, create a new rule with Lookup set to
Serial Numberforcmdb_ci_computer.

2. Add Related Rule for ARP Table
-
Check if a Related Identification Rule exists between
cmdb_ci_computeranddiscovery_net_arp_table. -
If not, create one so the engine knows how to reconcile relationships between computers and ARP entries.
3. Validate Serial Number Data

Sometimes the error is triggered because the payload has an empty or duplicate serial number.
-
Run a data check in the payload or the discovery log for duplicate/blank serials.
4. Re-run Discovery the discovery on the Ip address again
