Hello everyone,
I’m looking for guidance on best practices related to Technical Services and Technical Service Offerings in ServiceNow Service Mapping, especially when working with discovered Application Services. I have a few specific questions:
When should we create a Technical Service for a Business Service that is discovered via Service Mapping?
What is the correct sequence to create a Technical Service—should it be created before or after the Application Service is discovered?
Do we always need to create Technical Service Offerings along with the Technical Service?
How can we identify whether a component should be modeled as a Technical Service or just as a CI within the Application Service?
What criteria help determine if a Technical Service Offering is required?
How are Technical Services and Offerings linked to the discovered Application Service in Service Mapping?
Any insights, examples, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated!
