It depends on the need, some time 2 bases are also too much and sometimes 10nalso looks good.
Knowledge base are 1st criteria to differnate the article.
More bases will bring more maintenance, more workfliw, more group and more criteria.
So it depends on needs. As per my experience 3 to 5 bases are good to go.
