Please follow the below steps to create a CSM-style portal using UI Builder:

 

  • Open UI Builder → Create a new Experience (Portal template).

  • Create three pages: All Cases, My Cases, Need Action.

  • Add a Data Table component on each page.

  • Configure a Table API data resource with table sn_customerservice_case.

  • All Cases: query active=true.

  • My Cases: filter using logged-in user → opened_by=${sys_user_id} or contact=${sys_user_id}.

  • Need Action: filter cases in states like Awaiting Customer or where u_action_required=true.

  • Enable row click to open a case detail page.

  • Add actions (Add Comment / Update State) using buttons or record actions.

  • Set ACLs to ensure users can see and update only their own cases.
