Hi Community,

We've been listening to your feedback, and as part of the Xanadu and Yokohama releases, we've refreshed and updated our Data Model documentation for Financial Services Operations (FSO). These changes are designed to help you plan and implement FSO more effectively. With this information, you can extend built-in tables to meet your implementation needs instead of adding custom tables that are expensive to maintain during upgrades.

What's Changed?

Here are the key updates to the FSO documentation:

  • Separate Data Model Topics: We now have dedicated sections for the FSO Core and FSO Insurance data models.
  • Updated for Yokohama Patch 1: Our data models have been revised to confirm accuracy with the latest patch.
  • Comprehensive Table Overview: The data models now clearly show the available tables in the FSO Core application, as well as operational workflow tables (FSO extensions of tasks and cases), and the relationships between them.
  • Generic Design for Clarity: We've made the data models more generic to facilitate easier reading, as field labels can vary in customer instances.

We Hope This Helps!

We hope these updates will be helpful as you implement your banking and insurance workflows and applications. Your feedback is invaluable, so feel free to share any suggestions or additional information you'd like to see on our documentation site!

Best regards,

The ServiceNow FSO Documentation Team
