Display HTML field value without tags in workspace

We are working on Audit Workspace where we have changed the "Description" field type from "String" to "HTML". In workspace the "Description" field value is displaying with HTML tags. Is there any way to display the content without any tags.

HTML fields by default render HTML tag, as per screenshot I can see the field type is string not HTML

HTML fields will show HTML tags, that's OOTB platform behavior

Navigate the UI Builder > <your> Workspace,

use Rich text component for rendering the HTML texts..
