Many folks struggle with determining what roles are needed to support the platform and what size the support team needs to be. I found the following helpful in trying to answer both these questions:

Aloha folks - The new team size estimator can be found on ServiceNow University: https://learning.servicenow.com/now/lxp/questionnaire
You can play with the various inputs to figure out the number of roles your teams should have based on the desired outcome (ie building new team, up skilling, etc). Note that the suggested headcount is not implying unique heads. It's mainly saying these are the functional roles that people should own. One person could potentially be in multiple categories but you don't want to overload too much.
