I had a requirement to create an HTML Document template that will require a signature from the subject person, I was unable to understand the process for creating an HTML document and creating a task for input from the user.
Finally, I understood the flow for creating an HTML document and creating a task for user input (Signature).
At that time I had multiple questions in my mind described below and the solution is provided.
- How to Create an HTML Document Template?
- How to attach HTML Document Template to HR service?
- How to Initiate a task for HTML Document Template?
Creating an HTML document template was an easy part but the process to attach documents to the service was a little confusing, finally, I was able to do it. so I thought to share the solution.
Solution:
Here is a Step-by-Step solution to create an HTML Document Template to Attach it to the HR service and create a Task for the required signature. Please Download Docs File (HTML Document Template Process.docs) Attached and follow the steps to achieve your requirement.
here is a result 😊 (attachment:Finally.png)

Hi
When a document Template is created from an HR Case, the name of the person who created the form is added to the name of the attachment. Why? I see that maybe it indicates who should sign the document. Or it indicates who generated the document?
Thank you

In this case, the file name contains System Administrator, which is "Opened for" as well as "Opened by" of the case, I changed opened for the user to Abraham Lincoln. However, it still populates system admin, because opened by remained system admin.
Thanks!

Hi @Riya Garg1,
I'm unable to determine the exact cause, I recommend checking the following fields in the HR service template, as they might be contributing to the issue.
- Automatically initiate document task: Confirm that the value for this field is set to "true" in the HR service template. This setting allows for the automatic initiation of document tasks associated with the HR service.
- Document template: Ensure that the correct document template name is specified in the corresponding field of the HR service template. Double-check the accuracy of the template name entered.
Additionally, it is essential to verify that the document template is published. Publishing the template makes it available for use and ensures that it can be triggered correctly.
By reviewing these fields and ensuring their accuracy, you may be able to resolve the issue of the document task not generating.
For testing, I made modifications to an existing test HR service by adding a new HTML document template. When I created a case, the document task was successfully generated.
