The Oracle HCM Cloud integration connects ServiceNow to your Oracle HCM Cloud instance in real time. It synchronizes employee data, job information, organizational structure, and tasks from Oracle into ServiceNow, enabling seamless employee self-service. When an employee needs to take action, i.e. request time off, check their paycheck, information flows seamlessly from Oracle into ServiceNow. Requests and updates sync back and forth automatically. These integrations work through the Employee Center (self-service portal), Virtual Agent (conversational interface), or both, depending on your configuration.

  • The Basic version focuses on use cases that pull data from Oracle into ServiceNow. Download and review the Basic Architecture & Design Overview.  It includes details on architecture and design; security and compliance; and performance and scalability.
  • Download and follow the Basic Integration, Installation, and Configuration Guide.  It includes an introduction to the guide, details on installation and configuration; testing strategy; error handling and observability; and best practices.
  • Download and review the Basic Use Cases document.  It includes the detailed use cases.

Alternatively, the Advanced versions of these documents can be downloaded.  While the Basic version focuses on use cases that pull data from Oracle into ServiceNow, the Advanced version use cases execute actions and workflows to enable specific user functionality.   In addition, the Advanced documents provide additional configuration content.
