Migrating Transaction Data from the HR Global to the HRSD Scoped Application

Background

If you have been using the HR application for some time then its likely you will have built up a large number of historical case records.   After upgrading to the new HRSD scoped application these case records remain in the legacy application.  If you want these cases (and related records) to be available in the scoped application then you need to move them over. 

Solution

To achieve this you can now make use of the certified ITSM Bridge HR Migrator tool to migrate your transaction data. 

Note this is not a replacement for the Human Resources Scoped App Data Migration Plug-in; 

ITSM Bridge HR Migrator migrates data from a different set of tables. In particular, HR Case and Task records (including attachments and journal entries), Attached Knowledge articles, Related Documents, Task SLAs, Case Relationships, HR Templates, Template Tasks and Template fields (converted to new format), Template Knowledge articles and Template Record Producers.
