What is the ServiceNow Store?
The ServiceNow Store enables customers to access certified apps that complement and/or extend ServiceNow. Store apps can be partner or ServiceNow-built.

Is there anything I should know about the Store as an Employee Workflows customer?
The Employee Workflows Product Team has started to ship new features as ServiceNow-built Store apps. This allows the apps to be updated more rapidly and enables customers to get the newest features between major family releases. Examples of recent HR Service Delivery Store apps include Alumni Service Center, Listening Posts, Journey Accelerator, as well as several integrations and our Employee Experience packs.

What timing can I expect for Store apps?
Store apps will be released and updated frequently, and this will happen outside of the typical family release schedule. In most scenarios, Store apps are not dependent on the latest family release and are back compatible with several family releases. This enables customers to uptake them immediately without dependencies on a platform upgrade.

How can I be made aware of new apps and updates?
Under the My Subscription area on Store, you may subscribe to categories to get alerted via email when new apps are published. Once you’ve installed an app, you will also receive emails when updates are available for the app.

Do I need to pay extra for Store apps?
Many of the HR Service Delivery Store apps are bundled with one of the existing HR Service Delivery packages (such as Standard, Professional, Enterprise). Licensing information is specified on the Store listing for each app under the Requirements header. For any specific questions on your licensing, please speak with your Account Team.

How do I implement and install a Store app?
Once you’re logged into the Store and navigate to an app, Store will display your subscription status (either valid or not valid). You will also see a button to Get the app. Once this is clicked, the site will guide you through the install process.

From there, a System Admin can find and install the app in applicable instance(s) by navigating to System Applications > All and the Store app can be implemented in your instance.
