Add custom rule in ask for approval action

Hi,

I have added a custom state "Return to previous approver" in apprvoal table. In OOTB action, it only have approval and reject options. How can I handle this action in ask for approval action?

This is expected behavior.
The 'Ask for Approval' action is an OOB feature and does not support custom approval state values.

I don't think you can copy the "Ask for approval" action.
It's a system limitation.

What is your use case?

Adding a custom state is not going to help to accomplish any of your use case. There is a lot of logic working behind the scene.

You can't copy Ask for approval action.
