I'm sold on ServiceNow and have my first "badge" (Welcome to ServiceNow) and am looking for next steps.
Objective: to get hired as a Functional Implementation Consultant. I am NOT a coder.
Background: 25 years of technical recruitment or Talent Acquisition and HR work; currently unemployed and ready for a change. attached resume for details.
THE QUESTION:
Which way do I go? Do I proceed with the HRSD Implementor certification focus? I found another from Rise Up called the Associate Implementor (don't know if that is a certification or not?). I've had someone tell me I must pass the Syst Admin cert before trying the HRSD.
I'm confused. Can anyone help direct me?

Yes there is/are pre requisites. This link may not be the latest to date but Certified System Administrator needs to be one of your first goals before even thinking of an application to get certified in. Once passing the CSA you will have a better understanding of the platform and may help you decide what to focus on after.

Personally, after CSA I got ITSM which I highly recommend as the second certification, then Certified Application Developer, then HRSD, then others..
Good luck on your journey 😃

Appreciate your input and thoughs @Max Dore . Another question re the CSA. So I have seen there are courses for getting certified and then there are career paths for getting a CSA Badge. As in > https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/journey-overview?id=journey_overview&journey_id=55f7...
What good is a badge and how does it differ v. a certification?

You get the badge when you get the cert
