Edit PDF while previewing before generating the final document

Hi All,

 

We have a requirement to generate PDFs which we are able to generate using fillable PDFs configured under managed documents and fields mapped in document templates. However, we have another requirement where the agent needs to update the fields dynamically in the preview window before generating the final PDF. Is it possible to configure PDF Template Mappings to accept inputs from users dynamically on the screen, and how can we do that. Also, is it possible to make few of the PDF template fields readonly?

Hi @Jubisha ,

I don't think so , if you use PDF template that dynamic content will be work, in PDF template can't change anything dynamically however you use fillable PDF.  You have to use HTML template there have lots of flexibility like document template script, document block  for dynamically change for users.

Please check 3rd attachment, HR agent can edit dynamically & save the changes as well.
