Forcing Workspace UIB view to allow HRSD Case Creation to use fields

We are trying to use the HR Agent Workspace to allow our HR team to create HR cases.  We have noted that for the HR Agent Workspace to properly render the COE, the fields we want to show on the COE need to be visible on the workspace_uib view.  For this example, I am using the HR Payroll case.

 

The problem is that the workspace_uib needs to be set on the HR Payroll form as the selected view by the HR agent before they can use the Agent Workspace.  If they do not do this step then this occurs:

If they go into the HR payroll and manually select the workspace_uib view, they can use the workspace as intended:

However, I do not think it is a good idea to ask the HR team to manually set their views on these forms.  Initially I tried to do a view rule but that doesn't seem to have worked and resulted in the same error.

Is there any way to avoid the above error that I am getting?

agents go to HR Agent workspace -> create Case -> Select COE -> what next?

what error they are getting?

They get the "Component is not configured" error as I have shown above.

you are testing with admin or an agent?

As admin I am able to see those fields and no error

Did someone remove it from config of workspace?

Testing as an admin.

Config of workspace?  How do I find that?
