How to add similar 'Add to favorites' functionality in Popular Items widget in employee center

Hi All,

We are using similar to Popular items widget in Employee Center which shows all the popular catalog items.

Our requirement is to add "heart-my favorites" feature which let users to add Cat items to my favorites.

 

my question is-How I can add this in best possible way?

When you say 'similar', does that mean that you created it custom? If that's the case, you will need to share what it is that you created. If it's custom, we can only guess what you did.
