HRSD Lifecycle Event – How to Trigger a Catalog Item from an HR Template?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on an Onboarding Lifecycle Event (HRSD) and I need some guidance on the correct architecture.

We have a requirement to create separate  tasks in the lifecycle event. These were previously part of an Order Guide but are now being moved to standalone activities.

for those tasks, there is an existing Catalog Item  that needs to be triggered during onboarding.

My question is:

👉What is the correct way to link or trigger a Catalog Item from within a Lifecycle Event activity?

Go to the activity -> HR Template ->HR task type should be Submit catalog item
