Does anyone know of a way to see if custom fields are being used and if so, where?

Yes I do.
Any field that starts with u_ is a custom field.
So for a given table say Incident- you can right click - Configure Dictionary and see the list.

Thanks Mark - My question wasn't about which table the field sits on but if it's actually being used anywhere. Is there a way to see a list of custom fields and see if it's on a record producer or a form? We created a lot of custom fields when we implemented HRSD but we are no longer using a lot of them. I want to deactivate them but need to know for sure if they are in use first.

you can use these links for searching the scripts which are using those individual fields
Using Code Search to make developing on the platform easier
