Hello everyone,
When the HR task is generated, an unsigned PDF is currently attached by default. The fulfiller is expected to download this PDF, obtain the necessary signature, and then upload the signed PDF back to the HR task while removing the original unsigned version. However, at present, the fulfiller is able to close the task without attaching the signed document.
Therefore, I have a requirement to implement a validation check that ensures a signed document is attached before the task can be closed. Additionally, after closure, only the signed document should remain attached to the task.
I would appreciate any guidance or support on how to achieve this.
Thank you in advance!

somehow check using Before update BR if signed document is added to HR Task or not
If not then stop the update

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know we need to use a Before BR, but my query is about signature validation in the PDF, and if that's not possible, what alternative we can use to validate before closure of the task.

Manual Way:

Automated way :
- Activate the Adobe Sign spoke in IntegrationHub from the ServiceNow Store, and enable the signing of adhoc documents (HR PDF document templates) and Adobe Sign templates.
- Request e-signatures through the Adobe Sign service with the Adobe Sign integration. This integration relies on the Adobe Sign spoke in IntegrationHub and is enabled for signing ad hoc documents (HR PDF document templates) and Adobe Sign templates.
