Requesting guidance for implementing a data provisioning workflow with dynamic approvers

Hello ServiceNow Community,

I'm looking for advice on implementing a data provisioning request workflow and would appreciate any insights.

My Goal:

• Employee-side Approval First: The request first requires approval from the employee's side.
• HR Fulfillment Second: Once approved, HR begins the fulfillment process.

Specific Requirements & Challenges:

1. Dynamic Employee-Side Approver:

   • The employee submitting the request must explicitly designate the approver on the Record Producer form.
   • Reason: For requests initiated by contractors, HR needs explicit approval from the responsible person at our organization (client-side) before proceeding. The contractor's direct manager (from the vendor company) is not always an appropriate approver in this context.
   • Question: How can I configure the workflow to dynamically use an approver specified in a Record Producer variable, instead of standard options like "Opened for's manager"?

2. Sequential HR Tasks After Approval:

   • After the employee-side approval, I need to generate three sequential tasks for the HR department.

• Has anyone implemented a similar workflow with a dynamically selected approver via a Record Producer variable?
• Any guidance, examples, or strategies for setting this up, especially regarding dynamic approver handling, would be greatly appreciated.
