Send a notification when HR Task has created.

Hi,

 

I need to set up a notification for when an HR Task is created. The HR Task is generated using Flow Designer.

For example, if the HR service is Payroll, an HR Task will be created through Flow Designer. 

 

I prefer not to use the "Send Notification" action in Flow Designer due to the numerous similar cases.

 

I would like to create a notification in the Notification table for when an HR Core Task is created. I plan to use the "Send when record is inserted or updated" option. Can this option achieve the desired outcome?

 

All other notifications, such as assignment group changes and closure notifications for HR tasks, are functioning correctly. However, the creation notification is not working. I am aware that this can be achieved using the "Event is fired" option, but I would like to know if it can be done using the "insert or update" option.

yes why not you can use Inserted checkbox to send email when HR task is inserted

You can use your condition such that this email sends only for HR Cases belongs to particular HR service

Also you can use email script etc

However, it is not functioning as expected.

I attempted to create a notification at least without specifying a particular HR service, but that approach also failed.

I set the condition to "Active is true" and "Assignment group is empty" for the new HR task created notification. Despite this, the notification is still not being triggered. I believe I am overlooking something, but I am unsure what it might be.

Email is sent to which user i.e. recipient

Is that user active, not locked out and has email field populated in user record and has notification preference enabled?
