Hello community!
I'm looking for inspiration of possible approaches!
My customer requests an upgrade of a Room Booking service. It's simply selecting a date and time of when they want this room to be booked etc. (Among few other details that are irrelevant to this question.)
At the moment, the user creates a case to get a room booked at a requested date and time. They can't see if the date/time is available at all, instead the agent needs to communicate that back to the user... Which isn't optimal at all for starters.
But the main issue is really, that the agents has to manually put in these bookings into an Outlook calendar to keep the bookings somewhere easily accessible.
I've looked into what possible solutions there are, and come across Outlook integrations and the use of Appointment Bookings table.
I'm wondering though, what have others done to solve similar use-cases with bookings and such? I want to minimize the manual labor as much as possible for them. What's your recommendations?
