Well, it finally happened and it couldn't have been more fun and exciting. On May 11th in the closing segment of the CreatorCon Keynote at Knowledge17, the CreatorCon Challenge finale went down. Introductions were made. Pitches were pitched. Pitches were judged. Big Checks were presented. And the Winners were announced to the world.

First of all, a dramatic hats off to our 1st Place Winner, Factor5 and their CourseLoop application (built on the Now Platform) for university curriculum lifecycle management, freeing up academics to spend more time doing research and designing and delivering better course content for students to learn from.

They won $250K in cash investment from ServiceNow Ventures, and oodles of sales and marketing prizes to get their app off to a flying start (even though they already have two of Australia's biggest universities as customers). They're pictured below with the Legends of Tech judges.

Second, a pronounced tip of the hat to our 2nd Place Winner, Clear Skye and their Identity Life Management (ILM) application (built on the Now Platform) that integrates nicely with ServiceNow Security Operations and GRC to automate the management of user credentials, accounts, and access (or lack thereof) to information and data in heterogeneous and often regulated environments.

They won $150K in cash investment and scads of sales and marketing prizes. And yes, that is John Donahoe, ServiceNow CEO in the picture. Boom!

And third, a big swashbuckling wave of the hat to our 3rd Place Winner, Help-Full who's application (built on the Now Platform) connects elderly citizens with people that want to help them with their everyday tasks and provide companionship. Help-Full will be delivered in a B2B2C model by HR departments to enable company employees to help elderly folks in their communities, as well as in a direct B2C model.

Clear Skye is already available on the ServiceNow Store, and Factor5 and Help-Full will be by mid-summer.

What a trip it's been and what an awesome set of winning entrepreneurs and apps. Bravo!
