Reports showing as patterned colors instead of solid colors

Starting in Jakarta, some users saw the report graph colors go from solid colors to odd colors and patterns. The reason for the change in reporting visualization is to support Accessibility in the ServiceNow product. Accessibility supports several specifications in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to make the interface accessible to users with disabilities.

Users that do not want to see their graphs as patterns and would like to see them as solid colors can follow the steps below to turn off the setting

Navigate to the cog wheel on the top right corner of the instance

Open up the screen and turn off "Data Visualization patterns enabled"

These changes will enable your reports to be more inclusive to the greater audience at your company.
