How to enable chat summarization for Teams

Hello,

I have a requirement to enable chat summarization for microsoft teams, does anyone has any idea how to configure this.

Enable chat summarization for messages sent in Microsoft Teams.

Before you begin

Role required: nsa_admin

Procedure

  1. Go to the Now Assist Skill Config Applicability (sn_nowassist_skill_config_applicability) table by entering sn_nowassist_skill_config_applicability.list in the navigator.
  2. Select New to create a record.
  3. In the Skill config field, enter Chat summarization.
    If you have multiple Now Assist applications installed, there might be more than one record called Chat summarization. If you want to check the application of the skill config, select the record, and then use the record preview icon (

     

    ) to look at the Application field value, such as Now Assist for IT Service Management (ITSM).
    1. In the Filter parameters field, enter deviceType for Name and Teams for Value.

    2. Select Submit to create the record.
    3. Optional: If you want to configure chat summarization for all of your Now Assist applications, repeat the process for each one.

    Result

    Chat summarization is enabled for Microsoft Teams messages for the Now Assist application that you configured.
