Agentic Workflows – formerly known as Use Cases – are the new kids on the block in the ServiceNow AI Platform.

Unlike traditional, deterministic workflows, these are dynamic and adaptive. In an agentic workflow, a team of AI Agents collaborates under the guidance of an Orchestrator Agent – the quarterback calling plays and selecting the right team based on context ♟️.
The diagram below (Yokohama Patch 5) shows how agent teams are assembled.
You’ll notice that AI Agents can be reused across workflows – though reuse is still limited in current out-of-the-box apps 🔁.
Each box shows the name of the agentic workflow or agent, plus the plugin or scoped app required to install it.
