We are using the Exernal Content Connector for SharePoint Online.
We are receiving an error message on the 'Connector Details' tab when we try to connect to SharePoint Online.
This is the error message.
AADSTS50027: JWT token is invalid or malformed. Trace ID: 64e2b550-0725-42b4-a2c2-46a518766600 Correlation ID: 2df06b65-1f75-464e-a101-092f5c66f8fe Timestamp: 2025-12-12 02:59:42Z
Can anyone please advise on what the issue could be.

The AADSTS50027 error usually means the JWT token is invalid or malformed. The most common cause I see is SharePoint Online connectors being misconfigured on Azure AD app credentials or the permissions.
Check that your Client ID, Tenant ID, Client Secret, and Redirect URI are correct and that the app has the required Sharepoint API permissions with admin consent. Reauthenticating the connector often resolves the issue.
